Community Development Corporations

Englewood Community Development Corporation

ECDC has a history of working to strengthen the quality of life in their near eastside neighborhood by offering quality, affordable housing to diverse neighbors, such as low-income families, the formerly homeless, and those who suffer with mental illness. Englewood is a neighborhood located between Michigan Street to the north and Washington Street to the south, Rural Street to the west and LaSalle Street to the east.

Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND)

Dedicated to the transformation of Indianapolis' southeast neighborhoods, SEND has invested more than $35 million in affordable housing, commercial renovation, youth development, and greenspace improvements. The SEND housing program focuses on the building of new and the total rehabilitation of existing houses, turning vacant or deteriorating property into quality, affordable housing.
